Know the Trails Before You Ride
The Mill Creek trail system covers a lot of ground, and most first-time riders don’t know how everything connects.
That’s where the map comes in.
You can download the official Ozark motor-vehicle map and use it in the Avenza app to track your location in real time while you ride.
It helps you:
See how routes connect
Stay oriented on the trail system
Understand where you are at all times
If you’d rather not think about maps at all, that’s exactly what guided tours are for.
Our guides already know how the trails connect, where the best stops are, and how to get you there without wasting time.

Why Ride With a Guide?
A guided tour gives you:
Insider routes to waterfalls and overlooks
Efficient paths so you see more in less time
Confidence on the trail, even if you’re new
A better overall experience, not just a ride
Guided UTV Tours FAQ
What can we expect on a guided UTV tour in the Ozarks?
Our guided UTV tours take you deep into the Ozark–St. Francis National Forest, where you’ll ride forest trails, cross creeks, and stop at scenic overlooks and waterfalls. Depending on the tour, you may visit places like Frog Bayou Falls, 60-Foot Falls, and Flat Rock overlook. Each route is designed to show you the best parts of the Mill Creek OHV trail system without guesswork.
Do I need prior UTV or off-road experience?
No experience is required for most guided UTV tours. Many guests are first-time riders, and your guide will walk you through operation and trail expectations before heading out. Routes are chosen based on the group, so you can feel confident even on your first ride.
What makes a guided UTV tour better than riding on our own?
The Mill Creek OHV Trail System is large and can be difficult to navigate without local knowledge. A guide ensures you reach waterfalls, overlooks, and hidden spots efficiently instead of riding around unsure where to go. Most guests say this is what turns a simple ride into a memorable experience.
What types of guided tours are available?
We offer multiple guided UTV tour options in Arkansas, ranging from short scenic rides to full-day adventures. Options include:
- 3 hour Blue Loop scenic waterfall tours

- 5 hour multi-waterfall tours with overlooks
- 6–7 hour full-day rides to the historic Oark General Store
Each tour offers a different mix of scenery, ride time, and destinations.
How difficult are the trails on your guided tours?
Most tours are designed to be approachable for beginners while still being fun for experienced riders. You may encounter rocky sections, hills, or creek crossings, but your guide will lead you through each part. If you can follow directions and enjoy the outdoors, you’ll be able to handle the ride.
Can we bring our own UTV or ATV on a guided tour?
Yes. You can join a guided tour with your own UTV or ATV and follow one of our experienced guides. This is a great option for riders who want local expertise without renting equipment.
How many people can ride in one UTV?
You can choose between:
- 2-seat UTVs for 1–2 riders
- 4-seat UTVs for 3–4 riders
Larger groups can book multiple machines, and tours can scale with additional guides when needed.
- 2-seat UTVs for 1–2 riders
What should we bring on a guided UTV tour?
We recommend wearing outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes. You can bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks if you’d like. Goggles or sunglasses are optional, and gear is available for purchase on-site if needed.
Are guided UTV tours family-friendly?
Yes, most tours are great for families with kids age 5+, couples, and small groups. The experience balances riding with scenic stops, so it’s not just about the vehicle. It’s about exploring the Ozarks together and sharing the experience.
Where do the tours start?

How long are the guided UTV tours?
Tour lengths range from approximately 3 hours to full-day experiences lasting 6–7 hours. Timing may vary slightly depending on trail conditions, group pace, and how long you spend at scenic stops.
Is there a lunch option on full-day tours?
Yes. On the full-day Oark Loop tour, you’ll stop for lunch at the historic Oark General Store. You can pre-order your meal for convenience.
Are there any restrictions for participating in a tour?
All riders must sign a waiver and complete a safety and operation briefing before the tour begins. Because the terrain is rugged, tours are not recommended for pregnant individuals or those with certain musculoskeletal conditions.
